The Ghost Notes Bio
Jim Politis' The Ghost Notes were formed in Greece in 2012 by guitarist Jim Politis. They play original compositions that combine a modern approach in Gypsy Jazz and Swing music with Greek elements and ethnic flavours. Influenced by traditidional Gypsy Jazz tunes, Django Reinhardt pieces, and the whole spectrum of jazz music, the band decided to follow a new musical direction in 2016: a hybrid style of music that merges Jazz, fusion, and progressive compositions with the Greek musical tradition ,both rhythmically and harmonically.
The Ghost Notes' debut album ''Jazzy-Key'' was released in April 2013 and includes original Gypsy Jazz compositions and Django Reinhardt covers.
